Gambling

Now I am not the type of heathen that would suggest anyone gamble but, on occasion when we play (always) we play for money. Don't get me wrong it is not big stakes nickel and dime stuff really. the point of the money is to make it more exciting. ( and to bug the hell out of the loser)

Here are the stakes.
We play for .25 cents a game and a nickel a point. That means: in a partner game if the final score is 18 to 21. Each player on the losing team pays the winning team .40 cents. 25 cents for the game and .05 cents for each of the three point difference in the score. Like I said the stakes are not big and no one will worry too much about losing.

Some things that you can say after winning a couple of games in a row:

"Boy my pockets are so full of change I can hardy keep my pants up"

"We tore the hinny off of that team. If we keep winning like that we will be knee deep in hinny"

"We might have to let a team win a game here they won't play if we beat them all the time."

"If I keep winning games like this I won't have to go to work tomorrow."

Just jingle the change in you pocket as the losing team goes by.

and of course any of these can be combined with the old standard "Good game!"

My brother and eldest son just came back from the races (NASCAR) and said they had a tournament. Each member of each team put in $5.00 the winner takes all the money. they had 8 teams so the winners each took home $40.00.

Way more gambling that I want to do.
